Homemade Cashew Butter



This homemade cashew butter is a delicious and versatile spread that's perfect for sandwiches, toast, or as a dip for fruits and veggies. It's easy to make and much cheaper than store-bought versions.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups raw cashews
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C

Spread cashews in a single layer on a baking sheet

Roast cashews for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden, stirring halfway through

Allow cashews to cool slightly

Transfer roasted cashews and salt to a food processor or high-speed blender

Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed

This may take 10-15 minutes depending on the power of your appliance

Store cashew butter in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks
