Ingredients:
- 4 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cheese curds
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425F 220C
In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated
Spread potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy
Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter
Add flour and whisk continuously until golden brown, about 2 minutes
Gradually whisk in beef broth and chicken broth until smooth
Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste
Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened
To assemble, place a serving of fries on a plate, top with cheese curds, and ladle gravy over the top
Serve immediately
